Hi, I’m Charly Clements! Over my 10+ years as a professional illustrator, my illustrations have been featured on books, puzzles, magazines, art prints, and greeting cards worldwide.
My classes have been taken by tens of thousands of students worldwide, and in this challenge i want to help YOU discover your own unique creative voice. ✨

Does Facetober cost anything?
Nope, the challenge is 100% free to join and participate in! Even better, when you sign up I’ll even send you free brushes, tools and tutorials to improve your art.
If you enjoy my teaching, you are very welcome to join one of my premium illustration classes during or after the challenge, but they are in no way required!
The goal of this challenge is to simply have fun, overcome perfectionism, and create a new body of work you’re proud of, while connecting with other lovely members of this community 💕
Is this only for digital artists?
Nope! While most people follow along digitally, each year we have many artists following along with traditional mediums.
The medium isn’t important: the only thing that matters is that you show up and create in whichever way lights you up.
What if I'm too busy to follow along?
While I’ll be providing you with daily prompts (with a few rest days), very few artists manage to follow along every single day of the challenge, and that’s ok!
The goal isn’t to stress yourself out. The goal is to push yourself to build a consistent art habit and overcome perfectionism by creating alongside a community of other artists.
Just create as many portraits as you can fit into your own unique schedule – whether thats 2 or 20 it’s a win! 💕
What software will I need to follow along?
If you’re working digitally, you can follow along in any software!
The Companion Pack comes with some free brushes make specifically for Procreate (which I highly recommend!), but they’re just an extra bonus and in no way required to take part.
Each year we have many artists creating in Adobe Photoshop, Krita, Clip Studio, Corel Painter, or any other software of your choice!
When will the Challenge start and end?
Facetober officially runs from October 1 – 28th
